Dedication:  To the members, advisory board, and friends that make up Bahama Assembly #86 for the continuous love and support that
you have shown me over the years; and to my grandfather, Joe Berry.  Never once did I imagine that one day I would stand
before you as a Grand Worthy Advisor, and I am so thankful for knowing that you are behind me one hundred percent.

Aim:  To grow spiritually, serve willingly, and give generously.

Motto:  “If you see someone without a smile, then give them yours.”

Scripture:  “Therefore, I urge you brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a
living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.  Don’t be
conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that
you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.  For I say,
through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think
of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think reasonable, as God has
apportioned to each person a measure of faith.”
                                                    Romans 12:1-3

“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.  Greater
love has no one that this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”
                                                    John 15:12

Prayer:  “A Prayer for a Servant Heart”

Heavenly Father,
May I desire to have a servant heart today,
Putting the needs of others before my own
May I have the attitude of Christ,
Serving others in wholehearted love,
 And giving You the praise.
May I always be eager to serve,
Treating others as I would want to be treated.

                            Amen.

Special Project:  “Serving Those Who Serve”

This year, as we focus on serving our Rainbow sisters as well as others in our communities, I would like for us to not forget about those
people who serve us every day.  I have no doubt that we are all very grateful for the work done by the countless men and women who keep
our communities safe and friendly.  Law enforcement officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personal work hard, and often risk
their own lives to serve us, but sometimes receive little recognition when we miss seeing them in action.  This year, I challenge each
assembly to give back to their local heroes in creative ways.  Visit a fire station and wash a fire engine, or have a sleepover just to wake up
early and bring breakfast to an EMS base for the shift coming in to work.  You can even put together fun midnight survival kits to give to
your local law enforcement officers to keep in their patrol cars.  Use your imagination!  Take lots of pictures and create a unique way to
show off your project at Grand Assembly next year.
